Reclaiming Hope

Rooted in Truth, Restoring Families and Reclaiming Hope for Uganda.

Our Mission

Protecting Children. Restoring Families.

Reclaiming Hope equips Ugandan communities with Biblically-based tools to protect children from abuse and prevent family separation.

Rooted in Scripture and led by trained local facilitators, this curriculum goes village by village — building awareness, restoring broken families, and creating communities where children are safe and loved. We believe that lasting change happens when truth is planted within families and communities, not just programs.

In 2025, Reclaiming Hope reached 2,220 people across 74 villages — a testament to the power of God's Word working through ordinary people in extraordinary ways.

How Reclaiming Hope Works

Biblical Curriculum

Scripture-grounded teaching on child dignity, family roles, and God's design for communities — delivered in local languages by trained facilitators.

Village-by-Village

Training goes directly into communities — reaching parents, elders, teachers, and local leaders who become protectors and advocates for the children around them.

Family Restoration

Where families have been broken by abuse or abandonment, Reclaiming Hope works to heal relationships and reunite children with safe, equipped families.

A Story of Hope

A Mother of Ten

She was a mother of ten, abandoned by her husband, with nothing left. In her darkest moment, she made a decision no mother should ever have to face. But God sent the Reclaiming Hope team to her village at exactly the right time.

She heard the Gospel spoken plainly — that she was loved, that her life had purpose, that Jesus had not forgotten her. She chose life. For herself and for all ten of her children.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18
