Path of Hope has been bustling, with three new admissions just this week alone. Girls come from across Uganda because Path of Hope is one of only two shelters dedicated to supporting those rescued from trafficking and sexual abuse. Since opening, 43 girls have poured love into our playroom — the dolls have been styled so many times their hair is nearly gone, and toys and games are worn thin from joyful use. We'd love to refresh the playroom so the girls can regain their childhood in a welcoming space. At Reclaiming Hope, we carry the stories of restored families close to our hearts. One mom told us how hopeless she felt before finding support — her children were growing up without the love and stability they needed. With your partnership, her home has become a place of safety and faith, where her kids now laugh freely and wake up knowing they are loved. At Mukisa Ministries, 80 children still gather each morning for breakfast and devotions, a living reminder of God's faithfulness. Our cow is resting until she delivers her calf in August, when the children will again enjoy fresh milk. Right now, we urgently need help to paint classrooms so they are cheerful and clean, and to repair our rusting gate and playground equipment so the children have a safe place to learn and play. The kids all come back from school in the middle of August and since we are currently in the dry season it makes the perfect time to paint! Your support will help create a space where children not only grow in knowledge, but also in Christ's love.

Our sponsored students are thriving in their second term, and it fills our hearts with joy to see them growing. Next month's visitation day will be a special time to meet their teachers, hear about their progress, and share a picnic meal together. What makes this so powerful is knowing where they've come from — working in bars, brewing alcohol, sleeping on the streets, or hiding from violence at home. Today, they are laughing, dreaming, and learning not only reading, writing, and arithmetic, but also discovering who they are in Christ. We're grateful to celebrate Dan's 18th and Ken's 20th birthdays! Please join us in prayer as travel restrictions linked to Uganda's Ebola situation have stalled Ken's student visa stamping and as things stand now, he is not allowed to enter the USA, even though only 20 cases and 2 deaths have been reported since the middle of May. With plans to travel at the end of July, we ask you to join us in prayer for God's intervention so doors reopen quickly and our journey can move forward as planned.
